Happy HOWLidays!

To recap my birthday, I got a Bobo toy at Petsmart (see below)! Also, Bella and I each got a nice, juicy bone to chew on. We chewed and chewed all night until my mom took the bones away and hid them in another room. In the morning, I sat by the door to the room the bones were in to remind my mom that I wasn't done chewing yet, so she got my bone for me!

It's my birthday! Today I am four human-years old. My mom says that we don't know my exact birthday, but she chose December 20th because the pound told her that I was 8 weeks old when they adopted me, which was on Valentine's Day in 2004. And so, December 20th would have been exactly 8 weeks before Valentine's Day.

Tonight we get to go to Petsmart, where I will pick out some new toys. Then we will go over to Grandma and Grandpa's, where Bella and I will enjoy yummy birthday treats with the boys. Most of the time though, Bella doesn't want her treats (even on her own birthday), so I get to eat her treats as well!... Happy birthday to me!

On Saturday night, Whitney and I stayed over at our Grandma and Grandpa’s house in Tempe and had plenty of playtime with the four boys. I had fun playing with the oldest boy, Chester, and fetching balls in the backyard. Whitney enjoyed many chew treats and time spent relaxing with Grandma.

Lately, I have not enjoyed my time outside. It is way to cold for my liking. However, on our way home from Grandma and Grandpa’s, the air was warmer and I enjoyed the breeze out the window. (See the picture below!)

To update from my last blog, Whitney did get near the tree inside the house. It was so obvious too... the tree was moved and she had pine needles stuck to her back when our parents came home from work! She'll never learn!

Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure. The first one is me and my sister on Halloween dressed as Darth Vader and Princess Leia.

The next few pictures are from our Thanksgiving camping trip: a few of Bella fetching in the creek, me chilling by the creek, and the boys (our uncles) playing in the creek. Enjoy!

So last night, my mom put a real-life tree in the house! I slightly recall her doing this when I was a younger pup, and I really enjoyed playing with the balls on the tree. However, this time, she put chairs around the tree, so I have a feeling that Whitney and I are not supposed to get near this tree. I think I can restrain myself from the sparkly balls, but Whitney, I'm not so sure about...

Woof Woof! (Hello again!)

It has been over 7 (dog) years since we last posted and so much that has happened! I don’t recall a lot of it, but I will try my best.

First off, we have moved! We now live in Phoenix near the mountains. Sometimes we get to go hiking which is nice, but I do miss the smell of dairy farms at night in Gilbert.

Secondly, my sister Bella left home for 4 days in January, and boy did she have us all scared. I actually didn’t mind too much since I used to be an only pup and kind of like being the only spoiled one. However, I know that my mom and dad sure did miss my sister and spent a lot of time trying to find her! I will let Bella tell the rest of the story sometime, from her own perspective.

For Thanksgiving this year, we got to camp at Oak Creek in Sedona. Oh what fun times were had by all! We were joined by our 4 Golden Retriever uncles: Chester, Cody, Charlie and Clancy. I guess they would be our uncles since they are our grandparents’ dogs, but they feel more like cousins to me. Back to the creek… we got to spent a few days hanging out in the wilderness, except we had the luxury of sleeping in a warm cozy camper. All of the other dogs, Bella and the 4 boys, had fun swimming and fetching sticks/balls from the water, but I preferred to wander the lands and chew on grass.
